I’m Quinn. I’ve been a commercial river guide on the Colorado River since 1990 and I’ve worked in environmental consulting (paleontological surveys) since 2005. In 2020, literally weeks before the pandemic hit full-force, I took a job in local government. It’s a oddball mix of petty local politics and self-reinforcing red tape, but I cherish this little spot in the world and I’m grateful to be surrounded by hard working, decent people. I’ve got an B.A. in English and a Master’s Degree in Natural Resources. 

I’ve been into photography since about 1997 and had my own darkroom for many years. I occasionally shoot a little commercial photography and I’m active on YouTube. I run and bike (all kinds – Mountain, Gravel/Road and casually), I like motorcycles and collecting film cameras.
